We are currently a community of 152 families.  Add your strength to ours by becoming a member of Congregation Kol Ami. Your support sustains and adds blessing to Jewish life in Denton County. Benefits of membership are immeasurable, but include:

Chavurot  

Chavurot provide many different and exciting ways to get together and have fun with our dynamic Kolamites! Chavurot accept new members at any time. If you'd like more information about a particular group, or need more information, contact Nina Yellin.

Dinner Gourmet - join this gourmet cooking group that meets quarterly and plans a menu to reflect the cuisine of a particular country.

Golf - tee off once per month at an agreed-upon course. Glenn Merkel is the facilitator.

Guns and Moses - our target shooters chavurah meets once a month, or more often for specific interests (trap shooting, target shooting, parent and child). Mark Davis is the facilitator.

History Readers - meets the fourth Sunday morning month for coffee and discussion. Recent books have included Lincoln at Gettysburg and Longitude. Bruce Cohen is the facilitator.

Broaden Your Horizons Book Club - focusing primarily (but not exclusively) on fiction, it meets monthly. Susan Colin is the facilitator.

Lunch Bunch - join this group for lunch at an area restaurant the last Thursday of the month.

Sunday Morning Walkers - join this group for a healthy walk in good company during Religious School.

 

Chavurot  
We have many organized chavurot.  Chavurot are groups of friends who get together for either social or study activitities, or both.  Contact Michelle Tell if you are interested in joining a chavurah!
