Our Mission
CKA is a participatory religious organization where Jewish families and individuals may live their Judaism. CKA strives to meet the needs of a membership with a wide range of Jewish experiences. We are dedicated to making all Jews and those who support Judaism feel welcome and comfortable in our midst.
Shabbat services
Kabbalat Shabbat: Fridays, 7:30 pm, except on the third Friday of each month, when we hold a 6:30 pm Family Service.
Shabbat Morning: Saturdays, 10:00 a.m., Torah-n-Tefillah - an informal service and study session (unless there's a B'nai Mitzvah that day).
Formal Shacharit with Torah services are held the third Saturday of each month and for B'nai Mitzvah.

Adult Education Going On Right Now
In addition to multi-session classes offered during the year, CKA has these ongoing learning opportunies:
Judaism U: Judaism U is a series of single-session classes that meet every Sunday during our Religious School, 11-11:45 a.m..
Torah'n'Tefillah: Every Shabbat morning (except when we have a B'nai Mitzvah - 10-14 times a year), we hold T 'n T, an informal and interactive worship service and Torah study. We are focusing on Talmud during the spring of 2008.
TIKKUN LEIL SHAVUOT
Shavuot is considered to be the anniversary of the Giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. Tikkun Leil Shavuot is the custom of staying up the entire night (leil) of Shavuot studying with the community in order to re-experience standing at Sinai.
Kol Ami is be holding a Tikkun Leil study session from 8PM - Midnight on Sunday June 8th. There will be multiple topics and teachers, along with food, fellowship, and plenty of coffee. Come celebrate the giving of Torah by getting some Torah!
